Wavestone Pottery is owned and operated by ceramic artist Rod Marquart. Although focused on producing high-quality cremation urns, Rod is able to create any item in clay. His line of giftware items is extensive. Only a limited number of items are shown on this website. A juried member of the New Brunswick Craft Council since 1999, Rod has had his work displayed in numerous galleries and fine retail locations throughout Canadaand the United States.  Each piece of pottery he makes is a totally unique,  highly decorative, yet functional item. Locally, his work could be found in such places as Humphries House Gallery, Mary E. Black Gallery, The Little Winter Gallery,  NS Government House, The Sherman Hines Cultural Museum, Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Bogside Gallery and the Nova Scotia Protocol Office.
