CREMATION URNS
|
Cremation urns made of clay have been used by people for thousands of years. These specially made Porcelain/Stoneware urns are 'one of a kind' works of art. It takes about two to three weeks to make such an urn. No moulds or presses are used in their making. Each urn is wheel-thrown, sculpted and glazed using non toxic (lead free) materials. The sculpted 'Wavestone' patterns, etched into the surface of the urns, are as unique as fingerprints. The wave-like patterns are further enhanced by a semi-gloss glaze, such as ocean blue, jade green or gold, which is then cured at 2300 degrees Fahrenheit. These urns are durable and highly decorative. They represent an option for those who prefer a high quality cremation urn, made in Canada. |
